Let’s be honest and true.
The awkward hellos, the reticent eyes
The reluctant smiles, the shallow talks
Let’s not those include.
I’ve had enough of sweet lies
And things that please my eyes.
Let’s not be the dust and the dew.
Let just me be me and you be you.
Let’s break the realm of
Fairy tales and unicorns.
I’ve been stung enough
By honey-dripping words;
Lets not talk about the rainbows, the universe,
The stars and the moon.
Let’s create the shades in our runes
That only we will understand.
Let’s begin from where we began.
Let’s begin with the skin
And the sins beneath the skin.
Let’s be the imperfectionists, do things our way.
I’ve seen the perfects who walked away.
